This kit is what I have been developing for the last 2 years and comprimises of all the components and instructions needed to fit a K series into your RX8.
Inside the kit you will get the PMC Motorsport Billet Aluminium bell housing adaptor,Billet flywheel, internal release bearing with mount, clutch line T piece and all associated bolts and hardware. with the option of adding a clutch kit too. Your SAS autoworks engine mounts of choice, along with the notch kits for the firewall and the subframe. The SAS autoworks Billet steering rack spacers and Anti roll bar and engine mount shims are also part of the kit.
Other parts you may or may not need depending on your set up. for RHD swaps if you are wanting to retain the factory wiper blades you will need a SAS Autoworks low rofile rocker cover notch or an aftermarket rocker such as the SKunk2 rocker cover. LHD swaps do not need to worry about this
These are the main components to physically get the engine in the car and connected to the transmission.
Other components incluve a inlet manifold. The easiest and best option is the K-power industruies front facing intake others are available but this is in My opinion the best Bang for buck and bolts on.
Exhaust wise there is a SAS autoworks N/A header and turbo manifold available seperatly on my website.
The Two most popular ECUs are the ECU masters black and Haltech elite 1500. These have Canbus provisions to use the stock Clocks and Electronic power steering pre programmed so this suits the street car builds alot more.
The stock RX8 radiator can be swapped for a ebay Alluminium version wich requires a small mod to clear one outlet to clear the new lower rack position. Some people also opt for a Honda S2000 Radiator or other aftermarket Radiator but these will require more custom mountings.
A set of 4 flanges/hardware is included to make the OEM Rx8 front chassis brace removable wich make it posible to get the K series in and out from the top of the car.
There are some custom brake lines and water hoses needed along the way and these are discussed more in the instructions. but any competent mechanic can figure these out along the journey
